FS: Tribus TRI-01 Chronometer (small-second automatic)

Up for sale is a Tribus TRI-01 small second automatic. A derivative of the Christopher Ward brand and manufacturer. This is a catch-and-release for me as it’s not a style of watch I’d normally wear. Condition is overall very good, with a couple flea bites on the 9-side of the case, some minor marks ...

Re: PREORDER: Watch Angels: Waltham Watches - Field & Marine **Pre-sale starting 2/26/2021**

I MAY go into this, but am a little concerned about the overall sizing and whatever that copper ring material is on the crown. Not a fan of anything softer than steel on the crown system. According to the specs, it's brass. Bayonet crown closure with brass locking lever (Depollier inspired) https:/...

Fantastic watch, wears closer to 40mm. Lume is absolutely nuts. Only downside is the datewindow placement.

Re: WRUW

Quick "mod" of SPB083 guts (thanks to denormalize) in the SPB185 case.

Was a little concerned on the overall negative spacing between the markers and the walls (no chapter ring) but looks even better than the stock options of either (IMO).

A recent pick-up, I've grown extremely fond of how thin and light this is.

How do you manage with the thickness of that Seiko chrono? I've heard it's the only "weakness."

Re: Favorite Watch Purchase / Deal of 2020

Easy one for me: Halios Fairwind. I wasn't a big Halios fan until this watch, it rectified 99% of the criticism I had about their previous models. Finishing is unreal and makes almost every other brand under 3k look like a joke. Value for this is legitimately unprecedented in my eyes and has truly ...

Re: PREORDER: Watch Angels: Cedric Bellon Sustainable Watches

I was really keen on getting in but unfortunately that crown-lock bezel system is a big deal-breaker for me. I'll have to see what collaboration piece they have with Waltham lined up in January.

Re: PREORDER: Brand Direct: Formex Watches - Essence ThirtyNine **EARLY ACCESS & FREE BRACELET OFFER**

Phenomenal deal IMO and a new benchmark for watches in the $1k territory. I would've have snapped it up easily had it had a screw-down crown for personal criteria. Still just an amazing value IMO.
