(We promise there are no pop-ups, pop-unders or other annoying distractions.)

The other method is donations from members and visitors. These are completely voluntary and there is no obligation. Any donations go directly towards site operations and are greatly appreciated. Click here to donate today.

Re: 2020 New and Upcoming Releases!

I am really hoping Benrus takes the Glycine/Invicta Group approach to pricing. All three of those watches look great but would be much more palatable at half the MSRP. I just can't pay $1k for a Miyota movement.

Your guess is as good as mine. In all my searching, I have found nothing about who may have manufactured this.

It contains a Lorsa 238, and is quite nice overall.
This brand was originally called Pete, but that name was replaced before it took off.

Re: Rolex Wall Clock GMT - Master II

So it looks like the pics online don't show the Rolex name/logo, but the actual clocks have them?

Also, wish they had a 1016 version.

Re: 2020 New and Upcoming Releases!

The Expedition is sold out but starting THIS SUNDAY at 9 a.m. eastern (1400 UK time), they are taking orders for another round. https://www.timefactors.com/closed1.htm Note Eddie says he's only taking as many orders as he can fill next week, so there may not be many slots available. Apologies but i...

Re: 2020 New and Upcoming Releases!

So these were apparently released in 2019, but I searched that thread and it looks like they weren't mentioned. Timefactors releases two new Smiths Everest models, both 36mm with a white face. I might need to be sedated to resist this for one last day. The WT Pro has been calling my name for a week and a half.

Re: Best TV Show

+1 for Barry (HBO), Jack Ryan (Amazon) and Letterkenny (Hulu) from me. Also, just finished Silicon Valley (HBO) and I usually found that good for several good laughs (vs courtesy chuckles) per episode. My wife was about to start The Mandalorian with me but when I told her it’s a Star Wars she chang...

Re: Any ideas on where to source this style of elastic strap?

I did a quick search on Ali Express but couldn't find anything.

If you (or someone you know) is comfortable with basic sewing, could you get a few single pass elastic from Cheapest Nato and just remove the keepers?

Holben's Fine Watch Bands carries several brands, including Eulit, Hirsch, and Erika's Originals
https://holbensfinewatchbands.com/
Holbens also has a pretty big ebay store, so if you have ebay bucks or a code, it's a way to save some money.

Re: Short straps.

I have had a couple of Chris Ward short straps. They are great quality. If you can snag them on clearance the price is right, too. Here's a pic -- the CW shorty is on the pepsi seiko on the right. The middle watch has a standard length lakehouse leathers horween for comparison. https://i.imgur.com/Z...
