This timing may actually work on my end. With regards to hair cuts. I have been doing my own trimming lately. Not to the point where I can’t handle it yet.

Does anyone remember the Flowbee vacuum hair trimmer system?

I'll give video a shot despite the fact that I'm very much overdue for a haircut and a trim. Desperately hoping for my barber to reopen before the Summit, but I'm almost certain they won't. You have been warned.
Ha, yeah, I am looking pretty frightful these days. My barber is starting work this weekend but I am wondering if it's too soon (they could have started last week here even when the numbers of infections and deaths were still going up, but that's another discussion..).

I usually go to bed at 8pm (central time +1) but I will try and stay up for your guys and if I dose off and/or fall of my chair, you'll know why.

I'll be sure to be recording.

Far and wide I will find 'em and I ride 'em
Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

Yep, I did see that. Apparently all sold out and people were profiteering from them by ordering a bunch to resell during the pandemic. I wonder what eBay has them for...

Looks like a lot of them are going for slightly above retail and there are others that sell for double that. Not sure what is going on there, but probably listing quality has something to do with it. Anyway, they are available around retail for savvy shoppers, so that is good.

I've been shaving my head myself for close to 20yrs. I got lazy/busy the last couple of months and now actually have over an inch of hair (in most places) on my head. Seemed a shame to waste it, so I'm waiting to get a proper haircut to see what that looks like. My beard trim from a few months ago is all but undone. So yeah, I'll be looking like I was marooned on an island (think Castaway not Pirates of the Caribbean), but somehow put on weight.

I found a clipper set from a while back which I purchased to cut my son's hair. I used it to give myself a haircut as it's getting hotter, my hair was getting too thick in the back, and it was also getting into my ears. It's not perfect, but hopefully not (too) embarrassing. I used the longest guard, so it should be easy for my barber to fix once things open up here.

Sadly, the opposite is happening to mine in the back :( Not sure if I can keep myself from buzzing my head before Saturday.

What was this thread about again?

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the inaugural SDS due to my schedule. So I'm relying on all of you to ensure that it goes reasonably well. That way I can hopefully tune in to a second or third Summit if my schedule allows. I'd eventually like to meet all of you fine people......and even the not-so-fine ones. ;)

As long as the video remains off, he can wear as little as he pleases.
