As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Thanks guys...genuinely! And ManOnTime that's super kind of you to offer.
It looks like the two fires are unchanged from yesterday, which I think is good news. Probably early to call it, but it seems like we're pretty safe where we are.

I did actually go through the house and take photos of everything (including watches)...for insurance in case we would need to file a claim. Also took photos of vital documents and sent them over to family outside of Colorado.Dub Rubb wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 4:15 pm Stay safe bud. Get your important **** ready to go (ya know, watches and pets). I feel for you and hopefully the weather really helps. Fire is so unpredictable.
Secondly, while the subject matter is grim, great pictures!! You really captured it well.

On the topic of grim footage, this video of a family escaping the fire is pretty terrifying....

Horrible. Reminds me of the videos out of Paradise last year. It's apocalyptic. Glad your safe for the time being. Re: CalWood Fire
The fire is now 17% contained (up from 15% yesterday), but it's still growing due to winds.
Looks like we're closer to the fire than I realized...~6.5mi
Hoping for some snow late this weekend.

Re: CalWood Fire
A quick update- the CalWood fire is now 66% contained at 10,073 acres. We're getting snow tonight which should help even more.

With everything else going on in 2020, this view returning to "normal" is a much needed, welcome sight.
