Ever buy the same watch more than once, then regret it?
So I've owned multiple Steinhart OVM watches......and keep selling them, only to repurchase another one months later.
Rinse and repeat.
Anyone else have this issue with a watch? If so, which one?

I believe I have owned two Casio Duros (both gone), two GWM6510s (still own one), and have come thiiiiis || close to buying a second Khaki Mechanical to replace the one I sold last year.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I haven't fallen into that trap....yet. The main reason being when I sell the watch I can never again find it for the price I originally bought it for.

Not quite the same situation, but regret buying a second SNK809 to mod instead of modding the one I already had. It was my first mod and I was afraid of ruining it. Now I never wear the original, but it's such a great mod platform that I don't want to sell. Like MoT, I know I couldn't re-buy at the same price. My main complaint with the original is that I don't like the hands, so I might swap with some syringe-style and see how it goes.

I agree on the hands never liked them on SNK809, now syringe hands should look great on this watch!Sussa wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 9:57 am Not quite the same situation, but regret buying a second SNK809 to mod instead of modding the one I already had. I've re-bought only one watch that I'm aware of: the Seiko MM200. My first one had a very mushy bezel action and I wasn't a fan of the stock bracelet. Loved everything else about it. Sold it to try other things, then got the PADI version later on and it's stuck around well. The bezel action is much better and I usually wear it on a Strapcode jubilee, and I love it.

A few years back I got my grail watch, the Omega 2254.50, and honestly I rarely if ever slip another watch on in its place. Yet I have bought three OVM's in the same time, selling two.
Ugh. I need to sell this one. I've worn it twice. Gen 1. I'm just never going to wear it.

I almost have, I bought the Bulova Lunar Pilot because I thought the straps were cool, but won’t take the lunar pilot bracelet. I check out the bracelet version every so often and I’m always tempted to pick one up.
