As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

No mean feat! I can't even get the backs to open with tools haha
Coincidentally, that is an actual gif of @watchpalooza, after he gave up trying to open the caseback and pitched his watch in the bay.

Told my wife I'm going grocery shopping, when actually, I was returning watches...and grocery shopping. There, I said it.

What did you send back?
The cream Timex x Todd Snyder arrived today. The seconds hand lands between the tick marks. I decided to send it and the black dial back to Amazon.

I was already quite overdue for downsizing when I bough them. I've got no space on my desk; watches overflowing the top, watch boxes overflowing underneath. Quite honestly, it's just stressing me out. I just want one neat box with maybe 8 of my favorite watches and a couple of wildcard spots for "flings".

I just walked away from a good deal on a pre-owned LE Doxa. It feels good to have said 'no' after several hours contemplating the purchase in a way that felt like buying it was inevitable. I don't have trouble staying within my means but I also don't want to get in the habit of making purchases just to have something inbound. That wasn't the watch I really wanted and I'm glad I kept my powder dry for something that gets me really excited.

After I got my first COVID vaccine shot yesterday, stopped by the only listed Grand Seiko AD in the state.

Liked seeing so many GS with my own eyes (So SHINY!!!!), but did feel a little guilty wasting the salesperson's time. As I've no plans to ever drop that kind of $$$$ on a watch.
