What is time? Time is what keeps everything from happening at once!

After having to spend an unexpectedly large amount on a vet bill (yearly vaccinations and some xrays), one of the first things that came to mind when I saw the bill was what kind of watch I could buy.

I think I settled on an Oris small second date pointer equivalent.

I was watching Futurama the other day, "Fry and the Slurm Factory" to be exact. I've seen this episode several dozen times over the last 20yrs and the absurdity of looking for a winning bottle cap inside a can just now dawned on me. Ain't no bottle caps on a can!

That is a good one. Clever and very true. Thank you for sharing that.

“Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment because it will never come again." - Jean-Luc Picard

Up until about 15 minutes ago, didn't know there was a watch YouTuber known as John P.

Sounds like you are doing life on the road pretty well. It was an important time in my life, but I am glad to have it behind me.

My Nighthawk is quite a fine wristwatch,
With its slide rule, it calculates fast.
But setting the time back an hour
Is a genuine pain in the a**.

Tap. Talk. Buy a watch. Repeat.

Browsing AliExpress is dangerous. I keep getting tempted at the miyota 9015 and nh35 watches like ones from Cadisen for $115, but then I have to remind myself I'll never wear it because of my Grand Seiko

I hate FedEx so much.

My 5KX was supposedly "delivered."

Checked my video footage and sure enough, FedEx stopped across the street but never came by the house.

Now I gotta go through all this investigation bs.

Me too. Last year a FedEx employee stole my Zelos mako. Had to go through their investigation bs which lead to nothing after weeks

My disdain for them burns with the intensity of a thousand suns.

9 times out of ten they will fail to deliver an order even though I leave quite clear instructions. I will opt to pay more to have delivery made by another service, or if that's not an option, I won't purchase from the retailer.

I am alarmingly adept at changing a watch band while walking.

My wife can't tell the difference in my watches but our son, who is about to turn five, has suddenly become very observant. Life is about to become very interesting in our household.
