My wife loves your bird. She wanted you to know that.
She grew up raising various birds, so of course had to share your pic with her.

Female Maine Coons are smaller, so my guess is he'll be bigger than the average cat, but nowhere as big as a full male Maine.
Start training him now! They can learn, and love to play fetch.

This our newest addition. A feral cat had a litter of kittens in our back yard. We trapped all of them and decided to keep one. My wife named him Santi.

Benny is terrified of strangers (we're working on it) but a total snugglebug with his humans.

Our new kitten has taken to the house, the crazies (our kids), and the other cat quite well. He has this interesting way of relaxing. Sometimes his head is on the ground too. Reminds me of those bear rugs.

Re: Post a Picture of Your Pet
So, being generally dissatisfied with how quickly typical dog beds flatten into uselessness, and having a dog who recently unlocked the Arthritis Achievement, I did some poking around for orthopedic options. Short summary: Apparently cot-like suspension beds are pretty popular, and the preferred maker seems to be these guys:
https://kuranda.com/dog-beds
No, they're not bargains, a heresy bound to elicit a stern frowning-at from the Emperor. But it's said that it's the miser who pays the most. More of a long-term type savings. Theoretically. We'll see. There are replacement parts available should I ever need any, so I can maintain it instead of tossing the whole thing in the trash. They're also US-made by a small company, which appeals to my disdain for the rampant offshoring so prevalent today. I opted for an aluminum model, which should not only outlast my current flesh-eating monster, but be donatable to a shelter once I too go to meet The Great Vintner. Supposedly they love this company's beds. My dog-boarding/daycare place does.
So far it's only been a couple months, but with careful guidance the hairball's gone from wobbly "OH GOD IT'S GOING TO SWALLOW ME UP HALP" to "Ooo, comfy" full flop dozing, which seems to be the desired effect. I opted for Cordura based on my beast's specific quirks. The two nylon fabrics are...I'm forgetting exactly, but in the 900-1100 denier range as I recall from talking to a rep, so they should be pretty durable, even with my beast's penchant for vigorously trying to fluff up any surface--including hardwood--before laying down. These are all their options:

And for members here afflicted with the mind-altering effects of toxoplasmosis, they even have tributes to try and appease your feline overlords:

Though they'll probably prefer the box as usual.
No affiliation, just sharing info for dogs' sake.
