I still don't have a car for myself technically. But I have been planning on buying a "fun" car this summer or next year. I am seriously considering a JDM Nissan skyline r34 gtt since they've been legal here for a few years now. Only downside is there's about 1 insurance company who will cover right hand drive cars basically... and it ain't cheap! Used to be able to put classic car insurance on them but those policies changed recently for JDM cars. Now they must be 25 years old to qualify.

Otherwise, I am looking at a Subaru BRZ or a used WRX sti lol

I haven't actually looked but I'd be shocked if a nice r34 is cheaper than a used STi. R33 maybe. Not saying it wouldn't be worth it though.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Surprisingly r34s can be had here much cheaper than an STI. I'm not talking about gtr's, because those are insanely expensive. But pretty much any other r34 can be found at a decent price, it just takes a lot of searching. For example, a 2012 WRX sti here is like $20k used, and a 1998 r34 gts 25 turbo is like $15k.

Well there went an hour of my time down a Skyline rabbit hole. I was thinking GTR, which are, indeed, insanely expensive. But you're right non GTRs are surprisingly affordable. Now I... kind of want one? Though I have less reason to buy another car than I do another watch.

Who parks a Lamborghini in a parking lot like that? I guess someone with no options. But if it were me, I’d get a truck. Cars like that suck driving around in the city.

I agree, but it wasn't quite a city. It was at a waterfront restaurant in Sausalito, just a couple miles from highway 1 which is where I would spend my driving time with it. Well, that and Sears Point. I am guessing that much like most Rolexes, it was bought to flash wealth, not for it's technical abilities. Not saying there aren't people who buy both rolexes and lambos for their technical prowess and heritage, just saying "most". I would gladly rock either.

2004 Mercury Grand Marquis.

I replaced the rear bags with coils a couple of years ago (took 20 minutes [emoji38] ) and never bothered to disable the warning. (You have clip a single wire off the control box behind the glove box.)

Spending the daylight hours at Midwest Mopars in the Park, the largest all-Mopar show in the midwest. Been going for the past I-forget-how-many years, and it's evolved to a point where a buddy and I volunteer to drive a golf cart around delivering refreshments to the other volunteers manning the gates, directing spectator parking, etc. Not a bad way to cover the grounds and see all the cars.

Didn't take too many pics today, but this was a highlight. A 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner with the A12 option code. Only about 1,400 A12s were made, and in '69 only. There are at least a handful of these on display this year, in various colors.
