24-hour day/night ring superimposed on a 12 hour dial.

I made dinner tonight, and I tried timing the dishes with a digital watch instead of an analog -- what a PITA. (But no worries: the dinner turned out well.)

So many zeros -- my head wants to make them into 10, 20, 40, 60 (90?), 80. A 00 at the top would have been fitting.

Tesla's cybertruck is puzzling. In today's WSJ a reporter described it as: "the love child of a DeLorean ... and a Pontiac Aztek," which made me lol. (Confession: I liked the Aztek, tho I was never inside one).

Apparently the failed window demo was not scripted. Thinking it was scripted, my theory was that the whole thing was a spoof. It would have been perfect if Schwarzenegger stepped out of the truck, cursing at them for messing with his ride.

I think the Cybertruck is awesome, not necessarily because I like the esthetic (which I do), but because of the sheer gall of it. Makes me think of when the iPhone came out and suddenly all the pedestrian phones became "dumb phones" overnight.

At least they didn't go with 010. ;)

I'm with you. If I had the means I'd put a deposit down on one.

Not sure who would call these NOS. Maybe they noticed higher prices when they saw that term in the titles and just don’t know what it means.

I've been feeling like "NOS" has lost its meaning, similar to the word "literally". (Now get off my lawn!)

Apparently it's been (mis)used this way for literally over a hundred years. Who knew!

A friend of mind sent me a photograph. I noticed the size of his watch on his not-small wrist.

That's me when I wear anything less than 38mm.
