For the sake of the clutch I really hope it's an automatic.ManOnTime wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 9:50 amSplit-Time wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 9:35 am We have some engineering interns. One is a junior mechanical engineering major. Someone noticed his fifteen-or-something year old Tacoma and said, "I had a truck just like that and loved it! Is yours a manual or an automatic."
Blank look on the interns face, then he says..."I don't know. I'm not much of a car guy."

I'm finding myself pining for the "good old days" of 10 months ago. Things have gotten so complicated so quickly.

As a teenager I never thought that the purchase and set up of a one gallon filtered water dispenser would be the highlight of my day.

Re: Random Thoughts
I thought after 15 years of work hell that I would love being unemployed, especially in Colorado with so much to do outside.
Not true. It’s driving me crazy. There are only so many home projects, and I feel guilty being outdoors while my wife works.
I really hope to find a job soon.

Re: Random Thoughts
Sitting eating dinner right now and my 4 year old declared that broccoli is his favorite food and wanted some. My wife and I look at each other and immediately heat up some broccoli since we we're having mexican take out. He starts eating it and gagging but keeps putting it down. I have no idea where this came from. Mind blown.

Re: Random Thoughts
I have heard there is a broccoli gene. Like literally a gene that determines whether you like or despise broccoli. Same with cilantro. I am just happy I got the gene that loves both!Stretch44 wrote:Sitting eating dinner right now and my 4 year old declared that broccoli is his favorite food and wanted some. I saw a commercial for a Ranch powder you can sprinkle on food. Maybe I should try that on raw vegetables?!?

Re: Random Thoughts
I was so bored at 2:00 this morning that I googled how to keep a door from opening or closing on its own.
Dude just slightly bent one of the hinge pins with a hammer. Works perfectly. No carpentry at all. If one doesn’t work, try two, or three.
