I think it looks kinda cool on a mesh. As for large leather straps, Panatime has a lot of XL versions available and I think the JULY19 code still works. Can probably find some with the code for about $30

A few reasons.

1. I didn’t like the easy detach spring bars that came with the strap because the ends stuck out past the drilled lugs. That really bugged me.

2. The leather is thicker than I like and didn’t contour well to my wrist.

3. I wasn’t a huge fan of the rough texture of the leather (personal preference) and would have preferred the stitching with a contrasting color.

Mine has serial #165. It's perfect size for my tiny 6.75" wrist. With the funky shaped case, you know it's no ordinary watch. I like to put the watch next to my ear to hear the swiss movement beats. The wave pattern catch my attention under some light conditions. I knew I would put it on bracelet from the first moment I saw it. This morning I slapped myself in the face because I did some plumbing work in the house and I accidentally banged the watch to concrete. There's some scratches at the case edge at between 10 and 11 o'clock. I never scratch my watches before even I don't baby them.

Sometimes the bracelet price goes down to $22:

Actually this is a test shot of my new Oly E-M10 Mkii camera arrived at the same time as the Codek watch that I was lucky to get it for under $100 from Amazon famous glitch a few days ago.

Can’t believe this is $175. It’s criminal.

This may sound like an odd suggestion, but you should totally check out Fossil. I bought a blue leather NATO from one of their sales and ai like it so much I took the Ball bracelet off of my Starlight and am wearing it with the Fossil. My wrist is pretty big (most leather straps are close to the last hole) and there’s plenty of extra on it.

Too bad we don’t have a resident strap maker that could be commissioned to make something just for this watch[emoji6]

Everyone has different tastes though, so there is no one ‘best’ option for a given watch. It might be a nice strap making challenge.

It's Spiral Saturday. Got hit with $39 duty making it $290 CAD but I'm still happy with the price.

That admittedly was an assumption on my part when I saw it was regulated in 3 positions, which I shouldn't have done. And actually, I see now that the regulation is done by someone in CA, so I was likely completely wrong. Incidentally, do we know which company did the manufacturing?

I love how these photos show the light playing off the dial texture. Need to see similar pics of the white dials!

(And I'm leaving fandi's quoteblock up despite the image not showing so he can have his half of the spotlight.)
