My money has been refunded. I'll add my thoughts about this some other time, hopefully soon when I've had more rest. But In the interest of a full accounting of this whole debacle, here is the entirety of my email exchange with Jet. I did not communicate with them via chat or phone, only the emails below. Also, for the record I ordered a total of 10 watches, in 4 different orders. I actually received 3 of them; a Tissot Visodate from Jomashop, a Seiko SRPB99 fulfilled by Ergode and shipped from an Amazon seller, and a Seiko SRPA82 from Discount Shop. Assuming my refund comes through without a hitch, I'll have paid a total of $260.57 for those watches. The 7 Seikos I did not receive from Ergode were models SKX011, SRPA83, SKX007, SPB043, SSA339, SPB067, SKX009. You won't find anything exciting, amusing, or enlightening in the wall of text below......but this is how it went down.

Hello. I placed a few orders yesterday (order numbers X, Y, and Z) and I see that they say Fulfilled by Ergode rather than being fulfilled by Jet.com. I am unable to find a Ergode "storefront" or rating. All other sources online show that they are a drop-shipper with a multiple aliases and a very poor reputation. Do you have any information at all about this vendor? Have they been selling on Jet for very long? I am very concerned about not only my order but my financial information. They are apparently known to create false shipping/tracking numbers and to not fulfill orders. Any information you have about them at all would be helpful. My order is still showing "Processing" so I'm not sure if it is a problem with the vendor. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you in regard to my orders and this vendor. Thank you.

I understand why you would be concerned to receive your orders as expected. Ergode is one of our trusted third-party merchants. I don’t have the information as to how long they have been fulfilling orders on our site. I can assure you if you don’t receive your orders or something happens we will see what options we have to get you taken care of. I see the estimated dates of deliveries on all the orders are 12/5 that is why they are still processing. Once the merchant ships them out you will receive an email with the tracking information and the carrier so you have a better idea of when they will arrive.

Hello April. This ended up worse than I thought. Of the 8 watches I ordered from Jet that were to be fulfilled by Ergode, only one watch arrived. That one watch was sent by a different third party Amazon merchant. All of the others had tracking numbers showing deliveries that terminated in different zip codes than mine. Unfortunately it seems Ergode is known to ship small packages and "junk mail" (with a USPS tracking number) instead of the ordered item. And if previous reviews are to be believed, they often purposely ship to the wrong address, which it seems is what happened in this case. There were three separate packages that can be tracked to different zip codes. Judging by past reviews, it is likely that none of them contained my orders. I notice Ergode still has items for sale on Jet.com. Do they remain in good standing? Any idea what happened here? As of now, I'm out over $900. I've never had something like this happen to me before. I'm really hoping I'll be able to speak to someone about this problem and about a refund of my order. Please let me know ASAP what's the next step. I'm very motivated to get my money back. Thank you.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I received an email this morning that the amount of $390.86 is being refunded for order X that I did not receive. But I had a 3 orders that were not fulfilled. Would you please be able to look at order # Y as well. I did not receive any of the items in that order from Ergode. That order totaled an additional $390.86. Also for order # Z I only received 2 out of the 3 items ordered, so I am short $130.29 on that order. In total, I should be due $521.15. Thank you for looking into this for me. I appreciate the communication and look forward to staying in contact and getting the whole matter resolved. Also, in your experience, how long does it take for the refunded money to hit my account? I don't see it in my account yet. Thank you.

At this point, we should be squared away and those refunds will hit your card in 3-5 business days.
