As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Anyone bought straps from Nomad Watch Works?

I am from Singapore and Nomad is local.

I bought from them once and only have their horween straps. They are excellent VFM. I can recommend those, especially if you factor in a 20% off with EVERGOLD20.

Service by the owner is good but the temp staff at their B&M store only looks at their phones. Shipping for me is local so I can’t comment on international. Expect 2 weeks or possibly more, due to the situation the world is facing now.

So I have seen and touched most of their straps. Their quality is better than cheapestnatos, WAY better. But that’s to be expected since they are also more costly.

Still, their straps are not expensive so you won’t get really high quality stuff. Decent, yes.

YMMV.

Thanks for info.

Ever handled their bronze natos? Good quality? Is the hardware really bronze?

I sent them a message on IG to ask however they haven't responded yet.

Unfortunately, I have not. I don’t really wear fabric straps so I didn’t really pay attention to those when I was last there.

I am sending them a whatsapp message to ask. I’m curious to know as well. [emoji51]

I'm from Singapore too and I like some (not all) of their straps.

I find the weave on their seat belt NATOs to be a little thicker than I would like. But I agree with Quincas that their Horween chromexcel, Epsom and chevre straps to be good value.

I've been trying to find bronze hardware NATOs for my Zelos Mako too. I wish they would make a seat belt version of their bronze hardware NATOs.

They replied the same to me last night on IG.

Anyone have experience with bronze plated stainless steel? Does it hold up and continue looking good? Does it patina like normal bronze?

If my memory serves me, I recall toxicnatos sold some a few months ago.

EDIT: i just checked and they are not available anymore. Maybe you want to ask Terry if he still carries them?

Only other bronze natos I'm finding are thick Zulus that cost much more and I don't really like that style.
