Atticus Watches is a new brand by Rusty Mahony, the 3D rendering partner for NTH watches.

The aim of Atticus Watch Company is to take the classic designs of the last few decades and add a tweak here and there to bring to the watch enthusiast a classically-sized 316L stainless case housing a Swiss automatic movement at a price that won’t break the bank.

All of the watches in our Adventure Series feature the same 38mm, 316L stainless steel case, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, push-pull crown for easy winding and setting, and a screw-down case back. They are water resistant to 10ATM (100 meters)

Pre-Orders Starting TOMORROW!

If you’ve been watching our social media or the various threads on WatchUSeek and other watch forums, you should be aware that we’re opening pre-orders tomorrow, Tuesday, December 10 at 8am CST (GMT-6). To say we’re excited is an understatement. We have been working on Atticus for the last nine months and can’t wait to get them produced and on the wrists of our customers… and on our own wrists, of course!

What to expect

- We have updated the web store to include two pages per model name - one WITH DATE and one NO DATE.
- Please be sure to select your preferred version (DATE vs NO DATE) before placing your order.
- Pre-orders will be paid in full at the time of purchase, including flat-rate shipping.
- We will leave pre-orders open long enough to allow for accurate forecasting of production numbers.
- Once we have reached our target number of pre-order sales, we will lock in our production numbers and announce the cut-off for the current pre-order price of $500USD. The faster we reach our target, the sooner we start production and the sooner we deliver.
- As noted on the product pages, we expect delivery in late May/early June 2020.
- We will keep you updated with any important news between now and delivery.

I'd be interested in the Icarus or Teleios, but just spent $750 on the Antoine Tavan Kickstarter.
Maybe I can look to get in on the next round of Atticus watches.

Shame.
But thanks for the heads up.

Similar thing happened with Akura.
I imagine things are going to get tougher on the microbrand side as movements become harder and more expensive to source.

Not impressed. He should have seen this coming.

If he surfaces next year at $600 or whatever, I'm out.

I remember him holding on announcing pricing until he got all the production numbers in. Something must've gone sideways fast with whomever was sourcing those Sellitas.

I'd have been OK if it had a 9015.

For his sake I hope he gets a good grip on the microbrand handlebars.

Last time I checked he had a gazillion competitors.

I blame the failure on not having Scout, Jem or Radley models.
