As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

UNSUCCESSFUL : Indiegogo: ZK Watches - ZK No. 2 Chronometer - Diver and GMT collection

Post by TheJohnP »

If this sounds a little familiar, it's because back in January of last year, I highlighted a Kickstarter campaign from Zahnd & Kormann, aka Z&K, aka ZK Watches - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=194

They are back with a chronometer version of their ZK No. 2 collection.
Link to their current Indiegogo campaign:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the- ... 16205959#/

Super Early Bird pricing for the chronometer grade diver is $853
Early Bird pricing is $906
Retail pricing will be $1,067

Super Early Bird pricing for the chronometer grade GMT is $960
Early Bird pricing is $1,013
Retail pricing will be $1,205

Estimated delivery is November 2020

The relaunch was addressed in one of their Facebook post (and edited for brevity):

One year ago we did our Kickstarter project. Unfortunately we had to make a detour due to short-term adjustments from the suppliers and so we are back on field 1. On March 10th we will start our next crowdfunding project via Indiegogo.

The watch has undergone a few changes, the biggest one is for sure that we switched to titanium and made the logo on the dial smaller, according to your feedback.

To reach our goal, of funding the money to produce ZK No. 2, we need a little more than 100 additional presales of our watches. We need your support here, because with your help and the help of the whole community, we can do this.

The COSC certified Sellita movements SW200 or SW330 are protected by a 44mm and up to 600 meters water depth sealed titanium case and are limited to only 50 pieces per design. It is our goal to build up a watch brand step by step, which on the one hand is ideal for the entry into the world of automatic watches and on the other hand completes the collection of a watch connoisseur.

Thank you very much for your support;

Roger & Florian
