SUCCESSFUL : Kickstarter: Langdon Watches - Parkdale Automatic

Post by TheJohnP »

This is the first Kickstarter and first model from Langdon Watches out of Toronto.

The good - A really affordable $130-ish auto with no-date, small seconds, and a Frederique Constant Classics Index style vibe.
The bad - Mineral crystal. 41mm sized case with a 21mm lug width!

But I still like the looks of it, so here we are.

Early Bird pricing is around $129
No word on regular retail pricing.

Estimated delivery is September 2020 for the first batch.
November 2020 for the remaining inventory sold.

I really like this. The 21mm strap size and 41mm case don't bother me.

I'm going to seriously consider it. If there were a white dial/blue(d) hands option, I would have already backed.

I actually purchased one off their website back in July. The watch is actually quite beautiful, movement was a little loud, about the same as a Miyota 8215, but having a small second hand auto with hacking at that price... can't complain at all!
