MoT Forum Watch: Cincinnati Watch Co or Others
CincinnatiWatchCo has offered to jump in and help create a forum watch for us.
They have three preliminary suggestions:
1. The new Cincinnatus that will launch soon. It would have an exclusive dial and handset (and possibly other exclusive touches) for us. Members would be able to pre-order it during the launch pre-order phase.
2. The Pilot. More expensive, and it would have an exclusive dial however there are only roughly 45 of these watches left.
3. A completely bespoke watch. This would be significantly more expensive than the other two options.
Please vote in the poll.

The specs on the watch (Cincinnatus) seem quite good, great size (39mm), sapphire crystal, NH71A movement. I like it.

Pilot blue all the way for me, though none of the other options turns me off either.

I say the field watch. Personally it would look great in a really dark forest green with vintage lume and gilt. Loose the 13-23 numbers and just do a normal full 12hr dial moving the numbers closer to the minute track to compensate the gap formed, everything gilt outlined, maybe the just 12hr numbers and hands in vintage lume if that is not an option. Black with the minute track in silver and numbers outlined with white with brushed silver hands and pale green lume would also look great.

Either that or go old school and do it based on the OG field watches of WW1, vintage lume, all black detailing with a couple red highlights. Either blued or black hands.

Re: MoT Forum Watch: Cincinnati Watch Co or Others
I’d rather it be special/bespoke than from a current offering, and voted that way, but also realize final cost is an issue and getting consensus on a completely new build will be cumbersome. Starting with an off the shelf model probably makes more sense.
I would likely take part if CWC is going to be involved, I really like their entire line. The P40 is very nice.

Re: MoT Forum Watch: Cincinnati Watch Co or Others
I originally envisioned this as a build from scratch project, a much more difficult task but something that we could take pride in as our own creation.
I view this as a forum microbrand edition, which is fine. Will consider the field watch, specially if in keeping with MoT's Deal Forum it is made available to members for a better than the pre release price.

Tough call. If it has a date window, I'd be in but would have to probably forgo their diver's edition.

Re: MoT Forum Watch: Cincinnati Watch Co or Others
A field watch is fine unless it's 44mm or the numbers are painted with "Old Radium" lume, in which case I'm out.
Just my $0.02 USD as always.
