Cincinnati Watch Company x MoT Collab: Interest Poll

Post by MoT »

Now that Rick CincinnatiWatchCo has revealed the updated Cincinnatus watches, it's time for the next poll.

The collaboration would have the following:
 • Your choice of dial: Black, green or blue.
 • Cathedral hands.
 • Slightly domed sapphire crystal.
 • 39mm width, 47mm lug to lug, 12.2mm tall.
 • Seiko NH38, which means no phantom date position.
 • Custom MoT inspired engraved case back. (Design to be determined)
 • Stainless steel bracelet tapering from 20 to 18 mm, with screw-in links and solid end links, all brushed oyster style. Twin trigger deployment claps with safety fold over.
Please answer the poll to indicate your interest in a Cincinnati Watch Company x MoT Collab Watch

Markings on the blue dial are being changed to white for better contrast.

I voted "need more details" because price will obviously be an important factor. Price aside, I really like the design. I would suggest a strap-only option for less money.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Same here. Love the watch, but price is the decider for me.

In regards to price my goal is to make this custom MoT version no more expensive than the "Early Bird" or first month pre-order price I will launch the regular edition at. Which I expect to be $239-$249 including the steel strap.

Went to check out the results before voting, but now can't vote. My vote is "Maybe, I need more details before deciding." Saving money for a big purchase (not watch related), but seeing a photo or mock of the collab design may sway me.

Since we are giving people a choice of dials, I am guessing all of the cathedral hand sets would have to be the same color to hit MOQ on watch hands. If that isn’t the case and the blue can have silver or white hands, that would be my preference. I am pretty sure silver would look better on cathedral hands, but I would have to do some checking.

If the hands are gilt, that is fine, though I may need to replace the hands if it ends up bothering me.

Dunno about anyone else but the bullet list of what's included is not showing for me in tapatalk. Pasting from the web:

Your choice of dial: Black, green or blue.

Cathedral hands.

Slightly domed sapphire crystal.

39mm width, 47mm lug to lug, 12.2mm tall.

Seiko NH38, which means no phantom date position.

Custom MoT inspired engraved case back. (Design to be determined)

Stainless steel bracelet tapering from 20 to 18 mm, with screw-in links and solid end links, all brushed oyster style. Twin trigger deployment claps with safety fold over.

So just to confirm - the only difference between a regular Cincinnatus and the MOT version will be the MOT engraving on the back of the watch?

Hour and minute hands will be different as well.
