As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

SUCCESSFUL : Kickstarter: GB Vintage - Vintage Watch collection

Post by TheJohnP »

This is WAY too big for a vintage inspired watch at 44mm. And they're using a mineral crystal.
Two strikes, but the dial work is nice and only around $250. So they get a thread.

GB Vintage out of Hong Kong have launched their latest Kickstarter for their new collection. Their previous campaign was successful.

Super Early Bird pricing is around $246
Early Bird pricing is around $270
Kickstarter pricing is around $283
No mention of regular pricing.

Estimated delivery is April 2021

Far and wide I will find 'em and I ride 'em
Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks
AD or authorized I don't analyze
Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

I agree - dial work is nice, but my goodness, that's a big watch.

Especially since the bezel is so thin. That's gonna look huge.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Yup. Same watch in 38mm or 40mm with an acrylic crystal would've been really hard to ignore.
