Well, I am glad someone did (blow budget on the CW sale)
As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

April is almost upon us, WPybus! I hope the watch will be delivered on schedule.
The next Watch Angels project is looking more and more interesting:

Yeh me too pdsf according to their blog the recycled steel is in the factory and the ‘artisan’ is currently making the straps so it looks like things are on track! If it wasn’t for lockdown I’d be trying to persuade Mrs Pybus to join me on a road trip to Switzerland to pick it up and possible visit a couple of other manufacturers on the way; My argument that I’ll save €45 by picking it up might not be enough though!!
The Funder moon phase looks like a cool project, they’ve put the release day back to May which considering the Waltham popularity isn’t a bad idea! (Yeh I’m also angel’ ing the Waltham in green...)

Haha, my mother went to Switzerland a few years ago and visited some watch places and picked up a couple of Rolex and Omega spoons (yes, spoons). Does Mrs. Pybus like spoons?WPybus wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 9:19 am Yeh me too @pdsf according to their blog the recycled steel is in the factory and the ‘artisan’ is currently making the straps so it looks like things are on track! All these angel'ings you are doing are giving you first dip! I (interested party without previous purchases) am in the third tier me thinks.
Re: SUCCESSFUL : Watch Angels: Cedric Bellon Sustainable Watches
Spoons.... there is only space for one collection of fine metalwork in our household and it will never be spoons; can’t believe your mother didn’t pick you up anything from the Rolex factory!
Us angels answer to God (Guido) so naturally we get first go at future projects but I think if you sign up on watch angels website you could be in for a chance of an angel place for the next one- so once again thanks for costing me a fortune- much appreciated!

Re: SUCCESSFUL : Watch Angels: Cedric Bellon Sustainable Watches
Hahah! No, she told me I should go and buy one myself! I will go with her at some point actually....a hiking trip......see you and Mrs. Pybus there?WPybus wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 3:54 pm Spoons.... there is only space for one collection of fine metalwork in our household and it will never be spoons; can’t believe your mother didn’t pick you up anything from the Rolex factory!

I am registered with them so I am tier 3 but I'd need to buy something to move up to the tiers. I very much doubt this moonphase in a monocoque case would be small enough to tempt me, but I'd be interested to see the final product. I hope it offers same level of originality as Cedric Bellon.
As long as you are happy, Mr. Pybus, spending a fortune shouldn't hurt too much
Re: SUCCESSFUL : Watch Angels: Cedric Bellon Sustainable Watches
pdsf yeh I’d love to get up the Eiger at some point, but I imagine the jungfraujoch railway will be the only way I’ll get the missus there!! I’ll look out for your watch collection on the hills- if still have your anordain it would be the perfect hiking watch! (Would buy it from you but being an angel isn’t cheap!!)
Looking at and buying watches has kept me sane during lockdown, but I’m going to try and resist the next angels watch, but I don’t have a moon phase.... damm it!

Re: SUCCESSFUL : Watch Angels: Cedric Bellon Sustainable Watches
WPybus Might have to call you The Angelic Mr. Pybus With my coordination I'd need 10atm when I go hiking in case I trip and fall into a lake (or a puddle). On the note of Jungfrau Railway: https://www.nordstromrack.com/s/tissot- ... olor=WHITE
I don't have a moonphase either - but with my love for smaller watches, I doubt anyone these days would issue an automatic moonphase at or <38mm without some diamonds that go with it....
