Just a friendly reminder that the Kickstarter is set to launch sometime tomorrow.

You'll want to act fast if you want to get in on the Early Bird pricing.

Received this in the email:

This mail is just to confirm that we will be launching the Newmark 71 Sports on Tuesday 18th June at 19:30hrs BST (British Summer Time).

The following link will become live when the campaign goes live at the above time:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/56 ... ch-reissue

We have made one or two changes to the campaign over the last few weeks which will become apparent when you visit but include a non date blue dial option along with a free rubber Tropic strap with every watch (not silicone I might add but EPDM rubber).

All the Super Early Bird slots are gone.

Still plenty of Early Bird slots at $399 available.

And if anyone does back this campaign, feel free to share this thread so other backers can discuss it here.

I like it. Reminiscent of a lot of vintage divers like this LeJour.

I am kind of surprised this hasn't been fully funded yet.
70% with 22 days to go isn't insurmountable by any means, but you'd think this would've hit that first hurdle by now.

Just under 3 weeks left and still a way to go for full funding. I do like this watch a lot. Backing the project and looking at the no date black with dive bezel.

Let’s hope they make it in the last 9 days. As for why its coming down to the wire: 1) There Is great deal of competition in the dive watches space on KS to compete with, 2) It is a beautiful watch and appears to be well executed, but the price point for a Miyota driven watch is IMO slightly high relative to available competition. I think they set the price point a bit high for quick backing...but hopefully not too high to make it by the end of their campaign. I wish them luck and think more would have backed it sooner for about $70 less.

I see your points and would just say there are plenty of watches with the 4hz Miyota 9000 series (not the entry level 8 series movement) with a $400++ price point. I understand that people go to kicksterter for a deal. Pricing near retail is not a great campaign strategy. Maybe preorder would have been a better option.
