Re: Help me find a bargain thread
I discovered the SRPC23 yesterday and it is my new crush. The funny thing about my crushes is that by the time the right price comes around I am over it. $289 at DiscountShop appears to be about the best price right now (and it is a J model, too). Seiko turtle prices seem to be pretty steady, though, so I'm not hopeful about it going much lower than that. Unless maybe Kohl's decides to stock it before their next bout of stacking discounts, lol.

Looking for a Datejust 41mm dark rhodium oyster perpetual, reference 126300. Not for me, but for a friend.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
Looking for a Silver (White) Dial Longines Conquest VHP 43mm on bracelet. Best price I've found is at Prestigetime, but it isn't much of a deal/bargain. Anyone come across anything better?

$755 from Watchmaxx with code MAXXWELCOME. Free shipping. No tax. Unfortunately it says ships in 2-4 weeks. They often have some of the best prices for both Longines and Tudor.

I saw the one at WatchMaxx, but I didn't know if they were like Joma.... Where 2-4 weeks means you aren't getting it.....yinzburgher wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 9:45 pm$755 from Watchmaxx with code MAXXWELCOME. Free shipping. No tax. Unfortunately it says ships in 2-4 weeks. Not sure, I haven't used them but it's probably worth a phone call to them. I know they have generally good, not great reviews.wake wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 9:52 pmI saw the one at WatchMaxx, but I didn't know if they were like Joma.... Hi there guys.
I’m in the market for a bronze pilot.
Archimede, Steinhart or others. I know deals are tough to find for these brands but suggestions welcome.
Cheers.

Have you looked at the Zelos Mako V2 bronze? Several different dial version available:

Thanks for the suggestion. Although I prefer the pilot style watches.
If I like the bronze after having one for a while these will go on list when I decide to buy a diver!
Re: Help me find a bargain thread
I canceled a “2-4 week order” from Jomashop and then the watch was in stock soon after. I think they just order them somehow and it takes whatever it takes depending on the AD channels.wake wrote:

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
Use the code AFF50 to bring these down to $377 at Ashford. Get 3% cash back with Ebates. If you think this is a decent deal, you might want to do it soon while this coupon still applies. Once a Ashford realizes they haven't made a specific listing immune to their coupons, they often change to listing so the no longer apply.

Re: Help me find a bargain thread
These Ventus Caspian pilot watches are all sold out but maybe you can find a pre-owned one on ebay or a forum if you're OK with brass and a Seiko movement.

Help me find a bargain thread
Anybody have an inside line on a good, cheap rain jacket to wear on my nightly walks when it’s raining? I’ve never owned a rain coat in my life.
