Nice! Didn't see this watch on evine! I assume THIRTY takes 30% off ...
EDIT: Nevermind -- code THIRTY doesn't get me anything in Evine. Sorry. I am going to guess that it works for folks who utilized the 30% off buddy referral promo from a few days back.
They are showing a 20% off buddy referral promo teaser in the bottom left corner of my browser.
Seiko 5 Sports Automatic (4R36) 100m WatchSRPC53K1 - $131.93 from Areatrend on Rakuten with code APPAREL20
If you order before midnight PST you will earn $26.20 back in Rakuten points to use toward a future purchase. Including a forum pic I saw recently that impressed me.
Seiko Prospex solar diver SNE441, $173 incl. free shipping with code HOLIDAY10 (tested). eBay: $195. List: $375. The question is: how comfortable are you shopping at a place called shadieware? This is the first time I've noticed them, so proceed with caution.

I'm netting $141 on this one after tax and $31.60 in Rakuten points (which will need to be spent later)
Can anyone comment as to how great (or not great) of a deal this is?
I already have an SKX013 (the mid-size black equivalent) and an Orient Mako 2 Pepsi.
I'm tempted to jump, but as I'm unsure, I can be swayed for or against. Thanks!
I'll just say that if you really like this watch, and there is something you want or need on Rakuten for $40 or more within the next year, than it's pretty much an unbeatable deal.
Edit: Sorry I missed your revised numbers initially. Still a great deal if you can spend the $31.60 wisely and plan on purchasing this watch anyway. It happens but it's not very common at all to find this watch under $160 anymore. Also, I just can't speak to how much you should want the watch given the rest of your collection. You would have to be OK with some redundancy.

I have never shopped with them, but when I was researching prices for a watch I was selling, those bastards were like $100 lower than any other site and within the first couple Google results. Ironically I couldn't find any other deals on their site at the time. Good finds though as usual BC.
Any time any SKX goes below $165, I consider it a great deal. I paid $160 ish for my 009 and still consider it a fantastic purchase. You would have some redundancy, but it is an amazing watch to mod if you ever wanted to go down that road.

I bought one of these to go on the $40 BUREI dress watch the last HUISABH thread tipped me off to. I was impressed by the thickness for $15. Caveat that by also saying I don’t wear it very often so I have no idea how it would hold up to significant wear.

Thanks for the comments, yinzburgher and Dub Rubb. I ultimately decided not to pull the trigger. Price is great, but, yeah, I think it'd be overly redundant given my current collection.
I guess that means I just earned $141 to spend on another watch?

Man, I have been spending too much time in WPAC. A year ago, I would have said "buy it now! It may never be this low again!. Didn't you hear? It is probably maybe discontinued! This may be your only chance to own a piece of history! Did you know that it is ISO rated? You are basically stealing it at this price."
Man, I kinda miss the old me.
