I'll second this. I made the mistake of buying one for my grandpa a couple years back and he calls me about once a year to replace the battery. I've never seen a watch burn through batteries like Pulsar.

Makes those Royal Kontiki GMT's which don't have pics yet $990. Way less than I paid for mine and I thought I got a good deal when I got it. If it was the black chrono I would be all in.

The "zomg crazy Seiko charging 300 for a Seiko 5" watches are starting to go for the price of an old Seiko 5 Sports, who knew.

Ditto! When these came out, an AD tried very hard to sell me the SRPDK1, the blue one but on mesh, but I valiantly resisted!

That one looks spectacular in the metal. These all look so much better live than in any photos – especially Seiko's stock images.

The 40% off Eterna at Ashford looks like a great discount but their Watchgooroo ebay store beats those discounted prices on a few of the watches, such as the PVD bronze-coloured kontiki diver, the blue kontiki quartz chrono, silver Adventic etc.

I love the look of the Super Kontiki chronos, which go down to usd1500 after the 40% off, think that is as low as i've seen them. Manufacture chrono could be costly / difficult for future service/spares though
