As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

My Swiss Tradition $24 automatic arrived today. I can confirm that it's a Chinese movement automatic, hacking and hand winding. I would say it's easily the most attractive $24 watch I own. I think it looks pretty sharp and I'm glad I bought it.

I'm getting ready to buy myself another one, and one of those "plasteramic" bracelet F&S, and the Swiss Tradition Chrono...and one of the magnet therapy watches for my wife.
The Swiss Tradition watches are worth buying for the bracelets alone at this price. There isn't a $20 bargain bracelet from anywhere that can touch them IMO.
You can also get a 3/4 carat diamond and ruby Armandi for the wife for Valentine's day for $20.

PurchaseDirect has a store display/open box Raymond Weil with minor damage for a good price.
So many of us have extra straps that the damage may be moot.
Or something that could be fixed?

Just an FYI to anyone who buys one: the screw heads for the spring bars are fake. It uses regular spring bars. Don’t put a screwdriver in the slots and try to unscrew them. I did, and now all my faux screw heads have fallen off.
For those with an interest in the Star Wars x Citizen collection, Citizen has them all on sale direct.
Not outrageously cheap pricing, but better than Amazon, which I believe were the exclusive retailer for these.

Don't know why they put S.B. Foot Tanning Co. in Red Wing, Minnesota when the Timex that I have purchased with the S.B. Foot markings are tagged strap made in China. The strap was horrible BS marketing.
The Red Wing Heritage boots are made in Mn, China for all the others.
Lange quoted $3600 to overhaul my Up & Down including replacing some parts. The math still works.
$8500 + $3600 = $17,000

I believe this is the watch he bought on ToM with the 20% off gift card sale and 20% off sale so effectively he got 36% off the ToM price and then was quoted for the watches value at 17000 I think. So I think hes saying its still a deal lol
If you are in the market for a quartz field watch, Filson has theirs for 56% off currently. I'd noticed other retailers that sell Filson with some sales...but...Filson seems to be at a better price if you buy directly from them. Lower than eBay too.
Field watches are 41.5 w/ 22mm lug width. They also come in 36mm w/ 18mm straps. Now $149.90.
Chronographs are 43mm w/ 22mm straps and are $199.90 There's a nice green one.
Again, not sure if they are great prices...but...lower than I could find elsewhere.
They look like this (see below) in a variety of color stylings.

I have a Filson Dutch Harbor that I picked up a while ago that I love - awesome quality. It was made by Shinola for Filson. These don’t appear to be so curious about the fit and finish from their new supplier.
Same here, I have one made by Shinola (Detroit boy but won't pay Shinola prices) Great fit and finish. Please let us know what you think of the quality of these.

Thanks, what the heck, went in for the Swiss Tradition auto because I need a golfbag watch, plasteramic because I've got to see what that's about and the pocket watch because, well, because it has a bottle opener.
