Re: Christopher Ward AUD deal
Had a hard time deciding which I wanted to go with -- the C65 Vintage MkII, which checks all my boxes and fits the exact aesthetic I've been looking for for a while, or the Sandhurst Chronometer for just a bit more. I ended up biting the bullet and getting the chronometer. I'll warm up to the Arabic numerals, and what a fantastic deal on a certified chronometer.

Re: Christopher Ward AUD deal
I really dig all 3 in the military collection. The main reason I went with the Dartmouth is that I already have a number of traditionally styled (Arabic) field watches in my collection. Otherwise it would've been a much tougher decision. I had a hard enough time choosing between the blue and black Dartmouth.Bergbergs wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 9:43 pm Had a hard time deciding which I wanted to go with -- the C65 Vintage MkII, which checks all my boxes and fits the exact aesthetic I've been looking for for a while, or the Sandhurst Chronometer for just a bit more. Re: Christopher Ward AUD deal
My tracking info now says "On Hold" (in Heathrow) and CC charge is still pending. Getting a little paranoid that it'll go back.
EDIT:
Seems like maybe it missed the boat/plane.

In case you haven't already seen it, this video review shows it pretty well. Although the bezel looks almost black in the video, in the comments it's asked about and clarified that it's slightly darker in tone than the dial but not black.

Re: Christopher Ward AUD deal
Wow, looks so good Def the best looking cward imo. Does it having 22mm lug width and bracelet work nicely on the wrist? I’m comparing it to the oris65 40mm but that bracelet is 20mm and tapers significantly.
Congrats!

Re: Christopher Ward AUD deal
Thanks. Yes, 22mm lug width, tapering to 18. As you can see in the profile pic, the case is thin, and it's relatively light, so the watch is very stable with the bracelet. I have yet to mount it on a strap. (I'm a bracelet guy, anyway.)
Just my $0.02 USD as always.

It's here!
CW ended up charging $700 and Chase hit me with another $23 on of that. Whatever, the watch is beautiful.

Re: Christopher Ward AUD deal
Went from having no Dartmouths to potentially having two. Just got a shipping notice for my initial purchase attempt. Just called to cancel. What a mess.
