UNSUCCESSFUL: Kickstarter: Hawk Watches - S42

*NOTE* I have no affiliation with this project, just sharing this Kickstarter that could interest some folks.

Checking out some of the recent Kickstarter projects and this one was intriguing enough to share.
There are still plenty of early bird spaces available to get an ETA 2824-2 watch for $254.

They are also less than $1,000 and 20 days out from full funding, so they can likely make it over the hump.

I personally dig the two tone dial, but the indices can look a little cheap depending on the angle.
Also from the comments, there will not be lume on this production run. I know that is a dealbreaker for some.
For me, the dealbreaker is the date window right above 4 o'clock. If it's not at 3 or 6, I'm generally not buying it, it's an aesthetics thing.

I think if they could've gotten the hands to match the different indices, it would've improved the looks a lot.
That and have that date window actually hit the 4 position, if you're going to bother to have it there in the first place.

This one is just for me, but feel I should change the Subject line for the group funded campaigns when they end to reflect the status.
For instance, this one will read UNSUCCESSFUL
