The Ebay discount code and Ebay bucks thread.

As most members here know, Ebay is one of the most fertile hunting grounds for bargains of all types. One of the keys to getting great deals is the use of Ebay coupon codes that Ebay send out (sometimes targeted, sometimes site wide) to give discounts of 5%~20% off of basically anything, with a few exclusions. I thought it would be good to have a thread that consolidates these deals/codes so that members can strike quickly with items on their watch lists once these codes go live, or help in delaying a purchase if a new code is coming.

Please post here any discount codes currently live, or upcoming, either targeted or not, to give us all a heads up. Ebay bucks promotions would be helpful as well.

Good idea. I tried my best to go through all the slickdeals posts for sitewide eBay coupons to record when they occurred and the details. I included the discounts that were exclusive to the eBay app but did not include some of the smaller sitewide coupons (i.e. - $15 off $75+). People are always asking when the next coupon is going to be (nobody knows) or what the pattern is (good luck figuring it out) but I have found the easiest way to not miss one is to keep a close eye on slickdeals.net and this forum. The eBay coupons are some of the best opportunities to save on both new and used watches. Let's hope they continue!

First of all, wholly crap for doing all that research. Second, there are so many other category promotions that eBay runs there's no telling what they'll do next. They're currently running 15% off 'some' auto parts with a cap value of $25 saved. I bought a $185 part so Max's the value. My point is, they can runner sellers specific, category specific, etc whenever they need to goose their sales. 15% autoparts link below.

Thanks to the people who posted these deals in the WUS version of this thread as they came up, and also with thanks to whomever posted an eBay deal about a new Ball Fireman Enterprise for $690, I took advantage of the 20% off deal from 6/6/18 and picked up that watch for $590 with full Ball warranty. This thread, and the people that put effort into finding deals, perform a great service to the community.

Interestingly, around the time that Ball deal was posted I was also communicating with a couple of Ball ADs to acquire a bracelet for my Fireman Victory (which had come on a rubber strap, and I'm a bracelet guy). The quote was around $260 as I recall so when I saw this deal, which included the same bracelet, I jumped on it and essentially got the watch head for a bit more than $300. Funny thing is that I've never swapped the bracelet, and have the Victory on a leather strap.
