Boourns wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2020 5:01 pm So this doesn't seem to be a deal, since he's asking MSRP, but if you can talk him down maybe it could be? Mostly just posting because it's an awesome watch:

A lot to pay for seconds hand and bezel that do not align with the indices...just sayin‘. That second hand wants to hit the 45...

Spring Drive, so it's a smooth sweeper.

As for the bezel.... It's an authentic Seiko!

(I wonder how much is parralax because of the viewing angle, though.)

It does look good though...the details on the indices, the GMT hand. Have to say it is a beauty. Just can‘t imagine spending $4K+ on a Seiko.

If your wrist is around 6.75" these are a fantastic deal. Red Rock canvas are widely regarded as the best on the business and very expensive new.

Super good deal on an original design Steinhart here, two bracelets and a fitted rubber! 39mm size will wear much better with Steinhart's case design. Honestly I would pounce on this if I wasn't watch broke atm.

This is the solid case back model, but a Seagull 1963 for $150 is a pretty crazy good deal.

$400 for a solid 14k gold Tissot is not a bad deal and going by how long it's been up for sale you can probably make a good offer.

The bezel is bi-directional and doesn’t click, so alignment isn’t an issue.

No experience with Deep Blue yet, but they make a huge lineup of cool looking dive watches. This 40mm white dial dive chronograph looks like a very good deal at $105.

With proof of service, this looks like a cool opportunity to own a vintage chronograph in great condition.

Is it just my eyes or is that dial off-centre? given it has supposedly been serviced, it seems odd that it would be off centre.

A little hard to tell. It might be. Would definitely be worth inquiring about along with proof of service, if considering purchase.
