Not a springbar

Post by BATMAN »

What the heck is this weird thing? Went to remove a torn strap and had no idea how to get it off. Cut the strap off to get a better look, ended up having to remove it with pliers. How would you get this off without ruining the strap?

Sidenote: this watch has been in the drawer forever. Purchased from Sears while I worked there in college. Was my "dressy" work watch on days when I didn't want to wear my Ironman. ImageImageImage

Is it from that watch? My first guess would be it's a fixed lug -- not intended to be removed. (Which obviously makes changing straps a challenging proposition.)

Yes from that watch. Wow, that's lame. Boo Casio for that.
