As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

These are the watches I know from an industrial designer. I'm sure there are more. I'd like some of us can indicate another one.

Searching on designers to enlarge the thread a bit, at the request of TheJohnP, I found an interesting story about Michael Graves, mentioned above; and that has touched me, since I am (unfortunately) a regular hospital patient, as was my late wife. As we can see, many of those designers have designed furniture such as chairs and tables. The designer had paralisis problems due to illness, so he managed to design a hospital chair better than there was. It reminds me of the story of Howard Hughes, after his plane crash, which ended up creating the modern hospital bed.
