Exactly how I feel. I like it and I think it would look great on an 8 inch wrist but it's going to wear large on most everybody else. As most of us know, when you make a squarish case, you need to dial back the dimensions. GG already makes fairly big chunky watches though, so they may just be trying to keep their core clientele interested and happy.

Sorry for the poor quality images......best I can find at the moment but I'll try to remember to update at some later point. You might remember these October releases from Seiko HERE. Well meow Seiko is releasing similarly styled 3-hand Presage models with either white/silver, black or green dials.

It's been a long time coming for the newest Glycine Combat Sub "Vintage" models and they still are not up on Glycine's site. However some of them are finally available from retailers. I believe there may be more so please add to this if you come across any. You'll find some additional pics on Glycine's Facebook and Instagram accounts.

That $1,259 price is what kept me from posting about it.
It has also been three days since project launch and not a single watch backer.
Yikes!

Great looking watch, but definitely a lesson in what not to do on KS. My other criticism at this price point is the lack of an exhibition back and a decorated rotor and movement. Still, good to see the concept and perhaps they will get the feature x pricing balance better on a future release.

yeah... at that price, i'd rather save 20-30% more and get something like a Farer. or that Maen chrono from last year which was almost half the price. or one of the dozens of more interesting deals in the pre-owned world :/

it's kinda nice, but way too generic for that asking price. hard pass

I am really hoping Benrus takes the Glycine/Invicta Group approach to pricing. All three of those watches look great but would be much more palatable at half the MSRP. I just can't pay $1k for a Miyota movement.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

The case to the left may honestly be one of the best field watch cases I’ve handled. I think had they put a Selitta inside and offered a bracelet, these would sell easy. And the double dome is such a pleasure to look at.

And there's a lot of folks who will want a sapphire crystal for that price point.
