As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I think it looks lovely.
Probably too big for my wrist but I definitely like them otherwise. If Fratello is correct that these are unlimited for Europe, I don't think most people will have to pay that list price, which is about $400 USD. Of course it doesn't really make sense for Orient to have them limited for Japan and unlimited for Europe but that's what Fratello is saying in the article. They didn't quite get the numbers right for Japan so I'm not sure whether to believe them. HERE is the press release in Japanese which states that the red and green models will be limited to 500, not 1000 pieces. Thanks for posting. 👍

I think the Sinn 158 Bundeswehr re-issue will be a hit.....a shame it's a limited piece.

Those Ocean Crawlers are pretty cool looking too. They always get the colors just right. If they ever start making their divers 42mm or less, they'll immediately go on my list. Thanks for the posts WG.

The dial colors on the PVD models aren't doing it for me but I really like every single one of the bronze. If I was going big and bold at 43mm, I'd probably go for one of those vibrant dials. 🔥💥 Hoping to see some IRL pics out there soon.

anOrdain just released a new series of their Model 1. I believe their first batch received very good reviews. I think they look very nice. The selling point is their dial.

Just happened to run across an ad for these, so thought I'd share.

Swatch x 007 Collection

Pricing is $95
Seems some of these are sold out from Swatch, but maybe can be found elsewhere?

For the right price that brown face glycine could be my first bronze watch [emoji106]

Edit: I'm only finding those for close to $1000. Ouch. Hope Ashford gets them

If you've wanted input in an upcoming watch design, Vario is giving you a chance to be heard.

Vario is working on a WWI style automatic trench watch. They are looking for input from customers and the watch community to see if they will make this and the specs and features people are wanting.

You can take a survey to give your thoughts and suggestions here - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... A/viewform

Image
Image

The current sample features a 36mm diameter case, Miyota 82s5 Auto (hack and wind), enamel dial with lumed numerals and lumed hands, 19mm wired lugs but I will try to extend to 20.5mm to take 20mm straps. I am currently looking for a vendor who can make me a single pass leather with bund piece for versatility.

Watch will likely cost US$250+- for pre-orders and around $350+ for retail.
