As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.
I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.
Your guess is as good as mine. In all my searching, I have found nothing about who may have manufactured this.
It contains a Lorsa 238, and is quite nice overall.
Wow! Beautiful watch......never heard of Ringo either. I guess a lot of those vintage brands were something like yesteryear's version of the obscure microbrands of the present.
Thank you. It's a favorite, even though it's a bit on the smaller side.

This brand was originally called Pete, but that name was replaced before it took off.

I have a feeling that this is going to be an epic thread in the history of the MoT Watch Deal Forum. Today is a good day.
Watchpalooza, is that one of your treasures?
Not yet. Working on it...
Reached an agreement with a seller here in Germany. The piece looks really good and comes with the original bracelet (ultrasonically cleaned) and 1yr guarantee. Dial is untouched and shows a little age where one of the lines has faded. Some photos attached. Excited to add this one to “my treasures”!

This is an area where I will not have much to contribute, but am so thankful for those who do.
Please don't let the idea that you don't know much about vintage watches keep you from posting here. I don't know very much either. But you only need two things to contribute here; some level of appreciation for vintage watches, and an ability to post images. Also, while it would be great to learn something here and I hope to, I'm also very happy to just mindlessly stare at visually appealing watches. So if you happen upon any, please share!
Is there some tool out there that will "like" every post on this thread for me? Cause y'all are making me work a lot harder than I like to on a Friday night.

Welcome to the Skylark club!
They are beautiful.
I just don't wear vintage much anymore, but this one is staying in the collection.

Bricks and mortar get my licks just for kicks

Retail, wholesale never fail
Online or offline, I find I don't redefine
Too big to fail or yard sale they all hale
Run or hide just for fun deals I find

She’s a real beauty! Had no idea you had one. It was love at first sight for me, but the first one I saw was an obvious redial. So i went on the hunt. Happy to join the club.
