Not a bad pickup for $25. The crystal was pretty hazy with scratches...3x polishes later I think she looks pretty amazing. What do you think?

That is amazing! Hardly any yellowing to the strap.

(Not as amazing as the drugs in the '70s must have been, though!)

The blue one is pretty nice also, but no original band.

Wow, what a find! It doesn't look more than a couple of years old.

1907 Illinois 11-jewel, 0s size pocket watched dialed and originally cased by Bullard Bros. of St. Paul, MN. Someone converted this into a wrist watch a long time ago.

This is close to being my favorite vintage watch I own. It's a Bulova from 1979, and unusual for Bulova of the era, it is all stainless steel. Also pretty unusual for Bulova at that time is the use of a Swiss movement rather than Japanese. Oddly, I realized this happens to be the only watch I own that comes close to the classic definition of a dress watch.

This one contains a gilt ETA 2851. I love the 60 hour reserve, the 21,600 beat and look how big that balance wheel is, it extends just about to the center pinion!

Anyway, a few pics. It's about 37mm and it doesn't look ridiculous on my larger-than-average wrist. The original bracelet is pretty comfy, too.
