I ordered a $2.50 Ali Express 5600/5610/etc sized strap...just to get a black buckle.*

After opening it, I initially I thought it might be slightly more flexible than the one that came on my GWB5600, but I think it's really about the same.

Worth it if a black buckle is worth $2.50 to you. Plus you get a strap with the bucklet :)

I've thought about buying one of these in the "half transparent" and trying to dye it gray like the Sneaker Freaker G-Shock. May be a future project.

*This took quite awhile to arrive. Thanks COVID-19. Also this cheap one did not come with spring bars. Not surprised, just throwing that out there.

Possible Poshmark used watch bargain. I was stalking this model for awhile. Data memory, solar, zulu strap. Looking worn, but somehow it strikes me as just broken in like a good pair of jeans. $40 + $7 S&H (might be free for new signups). After signing in you can ask questions or make an offer.

Update: now sold.

I watch Gi-Shock-Go's sales video to let myself know I really don't have a problem. Comparatively.

What a coincidence! I just received the exact same strap bought for the exact same reason (to put on my 5610). I was bummed that the buckle was 20mm instead of 19mm like the OEM silver one, but it was nothing that a carefully wielded pair of pliers couldn’t fix. Also did yours smell like vanilla?!?

Here’s the before and after...

I hadn't sniffed it, but yeah, a bit?

I haven't tried to pull the buckle yet, so good to know. The GWB5600 I was thinking about putting in on currently has an Ali Express combi style bracelet, but the holes are slightly offline to the point you have to bend the spring bars slightly to install. Not happy with that, so I may just put it on this strap unchanged.

After buying and using the first one, I figured how addictive G Shocks are. Now I have 6. They look even better beaten up like in the video.

I thought the same thing, even not having one :D . I figured I would toss one down the driveway a few time to add some character.

My father has a friend who was a diver in the Navy years ago. As long as I have known him (30+ years) he has been a pretty serious sailboat skipper. He wears a SKX that is faded from years in the sun and it is one of the coolest watches I have seen due to the obvious years of honest use.

I'll end up with a GA-2100 once they eventually catch up on demand and there are deals to be had. And I might do the more G-Shock looking one of these bezel/bracelets.

The eBay seller I bought the case/bracelet for my 5610 has them for the 2100. I've been tempted to bite the bullet and get one, but 2100 prices are still too inflated.

Right, they're still higher on Ali Express than the 5600's, but they're getting closer to parity than they were a couple of months ago.
