Casio has a number of transparent G-Shocks being released (some info from G-Central here), including yet another new "CasiOak", model GA2100SKE-7A. Casio product page here.

Speaking of G-Central, these look cool for sub $30. Large readable time display and two positive display options. AE-1500WH. $26 at Casio, but not yet on Amazon. Reminds me of one of my Protreks, but $100 cheaper and no ABC.

I could see me picking up one of the FDE colored ones at some point. Especially if tempted by a sale somewhere.

This would look great with a clear smoke strap.

These Casio Edifice Scuderia AlphaTauri Edition watches look nice.

Expensive, though.

I see that AZFineTime has them in stock. $200 OBO, lol. The invisible hand meets the transparent Casioak.

If I were hunting an msrp new release g-shock I would stake out Reeds. That is where I scored my blackout Casioak at msrp. (I returned it though -- I prefer the red.)

Edit to add a link the Macy's listing that EA-Sports posted in the deals thread. It shows me OOS atm, but last night I visited a few times and some stock appeared. I was able to add to cart. Didn't pull the trigger. When I was done fooling around it was showing OOS again. New account/email signup should give you 25% off, too.

The GA-2110ET-8A I ordered from Tecobuy has not shipped. They finally responded to an email and said it was still in processing status since they were out of stock, but that more was expected on 2/25. I guess they could be getting more of these from a wholesaler, or maybe they're really not cancelled after all. Or they're lying :)

They still list them for sale, but at $122 instead of the $119 I paid.

Will report back. Kind of shady to sell something you don't have in inventory without telling the buyer, even if you really will get stock in eventually.

EDIT: Hah, just got this twice:
Hello, Andy S
Thank you for your order from Tecobuy. Your order has been well packed and will be ready to be dispatched from our warehouse soon.

We'll see. Hope it's true.

EDIT 2: Got a fed ex tracking number from Hong Kong. March 1 delivery. Might just get this yet.

Got my metal adapters in. Decent finishing for $4. Pain to install, like most Gshock bands. Drilled lugs on the 22mm holes.

I predict the next mod accessories for the GA-2100 that will start showing up on AliExpress will be lume index rings. There are a couple of people selling these already on Instagram and ebay, but they seem like something easily molded or 3D printed and sold for cheaper than they currently are. Only challenge to sell them is you have to take the case apart.

The gray one showed up from Tecobuy. They're communications were lacking and they sold me a watch that they didn't have, but they got it here in a reasonable time from HK all things considered. 19 days?

My thoughts: The blue one really should have that darker gray bezel that the gray one has, and it should use the gray index rings as well. The black index on the blue face just don't work for me. Like those gray ones better, but on the blue they'd clash with the lighter gray with the yellower tone bezel color.

Plus positive display FTW.

Metal Square G on the wrist today.

By the way, I think those new Casioaks will be the future classic G's. The OctoSquares? DoubleSquares? PolyG's?... Why not? The Squares have never been square shape that I know of... any actual square squares?

Just got an email that there are restocked transparent watches available from Casio's site, including the GA2100.

https://www.gshock.com/watches/analog-d ... 2100ske-7a

Limit one.

I think I like the GA2000 best. It uses the same module as the 2100 IIRC.

New G-LIDE from the Casio Outlet. Like the gray, green, and blue colors.

Alright G-Shock fans, to celebrate Sussa's and cortman's first squares (and because it sounds fun) I have decided to do G-Shock Square Friday tomorrow. Feel free to wear your squares (other other G-Shocks) and post in the WRUW or this thread!

Here's my official announcement: https://manontime.com/viewtopic.php?f=5 ... 550#p88562
I wish that watch were 38mm?
