I agree. Although, watch out for the $3,000 barrier. When I bought my Speedy last year, it was the first time I spent more than $1,000 on a watch. I've since purchased a Railmaster, Seamaster Trilogy, and Longines Legend Diver...

Still have a hard stop at $900.
Trying to make that last as long as possible.

I am with you here Stretch. I never spent more than $6-700 on a watch for my first like 35 purchases. Bought the AT and it somehow made justifying those type of puchases acceptable. Went to WPAC for a while and went 8 months without a single purchase. Then, BAM!!! Sapphire sandwich and snowflake in the same week.

That said, I am back to the affordable realm. But man, once you cross that $1K Mark **** gets dangerous!

Speaking of bronze, this NORQAIN Freedom 60 39mm in bronze is a beaut. Also $3k, so unobtainable. But sure is pretty.

Lusting for the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Duo. Tried one on a few weeks ago... so pretty and it's two watches in one! So that like a deal of some sort, right?
