As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

Tough to say that any brand is doing better with its heritage approach than Longines.

I have been looking for that pretty boy for months. Found one in the US, in Ohio for $327 on eBay but it was already listed as sold.

I can’t find another one in the US. NY0071-81EE

Does it have to come from the US?
Skywatches out of Singapore has it for $385.
But they're showing it is on backorder.
Does look like they will ship to US

Thank you! I have an issue with my pay pal and credit cards not working out of the us. Tried ordering a strap from masters in time out of Australia and spent hours with my bank and pay pal.

Thanks again and I will take a look. If the site will accept my pay pal and its under $400 I will buy it!

There are any number of higher end Seiko and Grand Seiko models that I've lusted over including the green dial MM300 SLA019/SBDX021 and the GS Hi-beat SBGH269. Both below.

But I think the number 1 high end Seiko I always think about and lust for is the GS Automatic GMT SBGM221. I'm not so sure it fits my lifestyle, and I'm not so sure I care. I just think it's got classic good looks but also plenty of flashiness. For me it's drool-worthy and I feel like I never quite get it out of my head. In addition to the pics below there is a IG account called watchfiend that has some awesome pics of it.

New to me brand Ophion, a collaborative effort from Switzerland and Germany has me captivated. Fortunately for my bank account this Anthracite dial version is apparently sold out although the blue isn't too shabby. 8-) Actually more reasonably priced than I expected at around $3K.

I like those as well. I saw the reddit post of them today and definitely had to look more into the brand

I've never spent anywhere near $3K on a watch (yet... however I get the feeling it's only a matter of time! :? ), but I have contacted Ophion to inquire about availability of the Anthracite dial version even though it's not currently shown in their online store. They say admitting you have a problem is the first step in recovery!

I agree. Although, watch out for the $3,000 barrier. When I bought my Speedy last year, it was the first time I spent more than $1,000 on a watch. I've since purchased a Railmaster, Seamaster Trilogy, and Longines Legend Diver...
