Really digging this one brother! And I am not usually a fan of the YM inserts. This just works together so perfectly. Well done!

Thanks Bro! It came out better than expected, haha. I had the Mariana dial in the spare part box because of the Bromax taking its place. Thinking about a new project for the dial I thought the YM could be fitting for it. Like the lighter style insert which makes the numbers less prominent. Straps completes the summer look.

Thanks. It makes for some really good strap combos. I had it on a forest green perlon yesterday.

It’s always an honor to get these compliments because of all the stellar BSH builds. Two more strap combos:

Excellent Thomas! That forest green works especially well. I wouldn't have even thought about that combo, but it's [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91]

Very beautiful and unique watches in this thread. Thank you all for showing your treasures! Wasn't aware of the existence of BSH custom dials until today, . . .

Just finished this guy up.

This is the 3rd case(2nd movement, 3rd handset) this dial has been in.

First was a riyi 36mm explorer-style case with Ranger hands and a 2824. I've gotten a new phone since then and cannot find pics. Probably some hanging in the "old house" somewhere, but I haven't been back there in a while.

Next was this Parniss 40mm milgauss-stype case. Ntbhis case required a 2836-type movement. I happened to have a 2878, which fits in its place. I used these hands from a vintage edox on it. I did not enjoy this case. It looked too large for this dial. Plus it has '18k' cast in the back. 18k stainless steel? C'mon...

A month or so ago I made a disappointing purchase on ebay. Mismatched dial and movement in an eterna KonTiki. The flat dial did not sit evenly on the curves dial movement and would cause the date wheel to drag. It also needed a new crystal(a fact that was not disclosed in the auction, and the pictures were taken in such a manner that they were not visible).

The Jester dial is 29mm. The Eterna dial is just under 28.5mm. As I'm chucking the dial up in my dremel tool, my wife asks me "do you know what you're doing?" "nope." "have you ever done this before?" "Nope." I successfully turned it down. Then decided to see how the 2878(and therefore a 2836) would fit. Stems lined up. I had to also turn down the movement holder ever so slightly. It all clamps into place nicely. Good enough to where I've put a new 2836 on order for it, because it deserves it.

I love the edge distortion on old-style acrylics...

Those look really good, Paul.

I'm still wearing this one. I got my 2836 movement for it, and promptly installed the dial and hands 180* off. But it turned out ok, as I've always wanted a LHD watch(i wear mine on the right wrist...) I also installed a screw-down crown and crown tube. I think it's done now.

I also think I could sell off half my other watches and not miss them... I really dig these cases. Image

Did you put the domed crystal on that that? I think I have the same case, but a flat crystal. I'd love to replicate that look.

I did not. But Vincent did. I linked you into a workbench thread over in the Zone with his play-by-play and materials list.
