As you may have noticed, we we're offline this morning. This was caused by the "Thanks" plug-in going rogue and using up way too many server resources. This triggered an automatic suspension by our hosting provider as they thought it was a malicious attack. The "Thanks" plug-in has been disabled, hopefully temporarily so I can determine if that was indeed the cause, and take steps to prevent it from happening in the future.

I apologize for the disruption and for any confusion that may have caused.

I know it’s supposed to be a reissue of an old watch, but the hands look about 2/3 as long as they should be. They are approaching Raketa Big Zero stubby.
I wish that watch were 38mm?

Same logo and the orange almost seems neon. Have it in for review.

Laco will be celebrating a 100th anniversary in 2025.
But they're doing something different by releasing annual special "count up" exclusive edition watches in the 5 years leading to the milestone.
The first one is Laco Edition 95.

Image

With the EDITION 95 we are proud to present the first companion and are setting sail for an expedition through 100 years of eventful company history. An authentic navy watch in a contemporary design, highlighting our established expertise in the field of nautical timepieces. It combines maritime charm with the brand's hallmark standards of precision, durability and functionality.

True to its name, the EDITION 95 is produced as a limited series of 95 pieces only. Together with the annual, also limited editions 96, 97, 98 and 99, it will authentically illustrate the history of our traditional watch making factory and can find its home port in 2025 for real Laco lovers in a distinguished collector's presentation box.

I've only seen Zeno or DEKLA able to shove a Unitas into a 40mm case.

Its L2L is actually shorter than Stowa's 6498 flieger with a 41mm case (@50.2mm).

This is a beauty.
Just my $0.02 USD as always.

Just got an email from EMG. They're releasing another version of the DL63 with a blue dial and updated design.

Image

They're also releasing a new watch Odyssey dual crown GMT. I like the design although the lugs look a little long. The Odyssey features an inner rotating 24hr bezel with date indicator at the 6 o'clock position and is powered by the Sellita SW-330 automatic gmt movement.

Specifications

40.5 mm diameter
48mm length
13.2mm thickness
20mm lug width
Domed sapphire crystal
Twin screw down crowns
200m WR
solid link bracelet
BGW9 luminova

Without a good profile pic, it appears to me that the GMTs lugs are sloped downward, as with the very-wearable H2O/Helberg divers, for example.

Thanks for the heads up.

'Some new and upcoming Seiko models:

Presage "Sharp Edge" SPB203J1 / SARX083; surprisingly there wasn't a black dial model with the initial release.

There are also two 40mm Solar versions of the watches above, SUT405 and SUT403.

Seiko Prospex Alpinist SPB197; Seiko didn't do themselves any favors here with their die-hard fanbase. This is basically a non-limited version (on a bracelet) of the previously released European limited edition SPB199 that came on a strap. However Seiko Europe is reportedly now offering refunds to SPB199 purchasers to make up for the faux pas.

Bernhardt has introduced a new series of their Captain's Watch.
Gotta say, I'm loving the specs and price point. The no date in rose gold actually might be my favorite of the bunch.

https://www.bernhardtwatch.com/collecti ... ains-watch

The three new colorways Black/Silver, Champagne/Silver, and Rose Gold/Chocolate along with the previous incarnation:
Image

Price is $319

And it doesn't appear their current 15% code of CUPID will work on these new models. At least it didn't when I tried on a couple.

Shared specs:

- 38mm
- Miyota 9015 automatic movement
- Sapphire crystal
- Signed screw-down crown
- Numbered exhibition case-back with ship wheel design
- 50 meters water resistance
- 2 year warranty

Black/Champagne dial additional specs:
- Black Dial with White Numerals and Silver Rimmed Super Luminova Hands
- Champagne Dial with Black Numerals and Black Rimmed Super Luminova Hands
- Inset Date window at 3 o'clock position
- Stainless steel case
- Jubilee-style bracelet with pins and signed clasp

Rose Gold/Chocolate dial additional specs:
- Two-Tone Rose Gold/Chocolate Dial with Rose Gold Numerals and Rimmed Super Luminova Hands
- Stainless steel case with Rose Gold Bezel
- Two-Tone Jubilee-style bracelet with pins and signed clasp
