The Wrist Record
Welcome to The Wrist Record!
Have you even seen a wrist shot, in a thread, and wonder to yourself; "How would this watch on fit me?" Yes, you could look up the watches size and other specifications, but we all know there are other intangibles that just the dimensions can't explain.
The dimensions are only part of how a watch wears.
That is the genesis of this thread, to compile a list of wrist sizes for members to reference in the future.
Furthermore, members can post wrist shots of watches, with model name, number and additional information, such as strap and bracelet lengths. This will allow members an easy way to cross-reference individual watches to various wrist sizes.
Rules:
1) In your first post, include the following information:
Username (This is very important, it allows others to search)
Wrist circumference (inches & mm)
Wrist width (mm)
Example:
Miggyd87
Wrist size: 6.25" (158.75mm)
Wrist width: 52mm
2) Additional posts should include the following information:
Watch brand
Watch model number
Watch name/community recognized nickname
Wrist shots (close up & at distance)
Example:
Casio
B650WB-1B (Note: watch is on an Casio AE1200 OEM strap, I wear it on the 4th smallest hole.)
I hope this thread helps new and veteran members alike. Please participate and come back often. The more members that post wrist shots the more informative this thread will be.

Re: The Wrist Record
I wear my watches super high up, sometimes on the bone.
If you have a smaller wrist like me and always wondered about getting a sumo, maybe this will help. It looks like there is a lot of overhang in the photos, but in person I don't think it's that bad.
Wrist Size: 6.5" to 6 5/8" (165mm to 168mm)
Wrist Width: 53mm

I appreciate your input about having requirements, but this thread wasn't supposed to become a haven for random and unsupported wrist shots. There are plenty of other threads for those postings.
The idea is/was to curate a collection of structured information, that is searchable, for those looking to purchase a new watch and have questions about how it will fit/sit on their wrist.
Due to the intent of this thread, some structure/requirements are....required to make it work. Like model names and numbers, usernames within posts and 2 wrist shots of the watch. I hope you understand and can adjust your posts to fit the requested requirements.
People don't have to contribute, it's ok if this thread amounts to nothing. I just thought it might be a helpful resource. Nothing will be lost if it never catches on, there is only something to be gained.
