Not sure if its new or old news, but the G-Shock collaboration with Bodega is here, the Bodega DW6900BB-1BD. The description from Bodega’s website below.

“G-Shock's ongoing, 35th anniversary celebrations sees "the world's toughest watch" pair up with Bodega on a collaborative edition of the iconic DW-6900 model that celebrates the kind of exceptional performance that goes on right under the nose of the daily grind. Playing off of the "hidden in plain sight" concept of the Bodega storefront, the G-Shock x Bodega DW-6900BB-1BD features a matte black, resin construction, Bodega text co-branding and the hidden in plain sight slogan applied to the band.

The hidden motif carries over into the watch’s packaging, as the iconic G-Shock case is given a bodega-centric twist. A stash can disguised as a canned food staple, alphabet soup, drives home the point that true quality is not meant to be an outlier or a sideshow demonstration; it’s meant to be something that you can grab onto, without a second thought, every day. When you have true quality, you don’t need to constantly announce it, because people will specifically seek it out.”

OK, I watched the video and I thought that the watch was going to actually be in the can of soup. That would be interesting packaging for sure. I am kind of disappointed about it even though I know nothing of the brand.

Actually the watch comes in a soup can-shaped box. You see it here: https://bdgastore.com/products/x-bodega ... 7387700298

If it isn’t hot packed in a soup factory, to be opened by a can opener then I don’t see the innovation here.

I know it is a collaboration and innovation isn’t the point of it. Interesting box that leaves me wanting more from the concept. What if Q needed to secretly get 007 a new watch and this was the only way?

I know someone shared a picture of the new Hamilton Murph on the day it was announced but I don't believe any other information was ever added. So I thought I post a few specs, pics, and articles about it. For those unfamiliar with the watch or confused about the hype, I'd suggest reading any one of the articles posted below. Basically, this watch was featured somewhat prominently in the 2014 movie Interstellar.

First, a link to the watch on Hamilton's website

They are also planning a compressor style dive watch

Never heard of this brand, but that compressor style watch is right up my alley. Might have to sign up for the newsletter. Do you own an Alkin? Happy with it?
I wish that watch were 38mm?

I don't own one. I was just curious about them a few months ago, so I signed up for the newsletter.

I own one. It’s a Kickstarter brand.

The compressor model looks really good, much better than my blue faced model 1.

Oris Debuts a Beautiful New Dial for its Divers Sixty-Five Watch

I just ran across this article on Gear Patrol about a new limited edition colorway of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five. This one is being produced in collaboration with Revolution Magazine. They are calling the color "Honey" (looks orange to me). It is due out in April and limited to 250 pieces. Price is $1900 USD. I'm a big Oris fan but I'm not so sure about this one.

I'm getting a lot of strong '70s vibe with that one. I kinda like it.

I had read about this, but that Morse code lume on the seconds hand is seriously cool and was overlooked by some of the reviews. I am diggin' it.

Yea, very cool. I haven't seen the movie but reading about the watch has actually convinced me to watch it soon. Hopefully watching the movie doesn't convince me to buy the watch.....
