The Xeric came in today.
There are things I like and some things I don't.
As I feared the watch does seem to wear larger than the 44mm would suggest.
Compare it to my 46mm Moto360 smartwatch.

On the fence for this one.
May keep it, may send it back for a refund, or post it on the Second Chance sales forum.

Thoughts anyone?

My thoughts are why keep it if you aren't fully satisfied. There are many moonphase watches under $200. Sometimes we get caught up in buying the deal not the watch, I know I do.

Butttttt if you like it and the size doesn't bother you keep it :)

I've thought about possibly picking up the Citizen 2870. It's a vintage quartz moon phase.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but Davosa makes a Quartz Moonphase. Not a particularly large moon phase display but not small either and it's a nice looking watch. Also, wondering if you would consider a pre-owned/vintage watch. It seems Seiko and even Timex made some with larger displays.

This is nice.
But not quite what I'm after.
Appears this uses the same movement as a similar Grovana and Edox moonphase.

What I would prefer is:
1) a larger moon image
2) a moon that is more white/silver rather than yellow/gold

But thanks for reviving a dead thread, Yinz!

I actually tried another version at an AD.
95% there. If moon was bigger or less than $200...
