Let me guess. You said something negative about the liberal agenda. [emoji6]Robotaz wrote:I would participate on IG, but I deleted my account a couple of weeks ago over them censoring and deleting accounts that contradict their political agenda.

This is well-stated, and one of the things I like most about this site. Matt is extremely thoughtful in all of the site operations and constructs to not unfairly limit dialog or put a personal spin on opinion sharing. It is a rare gem that I greatly appreciate.Robotaz wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 6:53 pmTrue, but it sure would be nice if platforms designed to promote sharing of opinions allowed all opinions. I think it’s unethical to put a personal slant on opinion sharing. It’s just wrong, but Zuckerburg is all about money now so I get why he has no ethics.ManOnTime wrote:That's the beauty of free enterprise. The main reason I don't permit political discussion on this site is trifold:
1. Watches are apolitical.
2. I've run various forums, message boards, etc for almost 20 years. It is impossible to have a nuanced exchange of opinions via a message board or comments section. It's worse when the participant is so dogmatically adherent to their particular point of view that alternate viewpoints are dismissed off hand.
3. I don't want them here, and it's my house so they won't be here.
Fin.

This watch does not have any political party affiliation. But it does have a very vocal opinion that automatics are not always better than quartz watches!

Apparently my plan to wear colored dials until the clouds disappear worked: A bit of sun today.

Re: WRUW
A blurry Indiglo shot to start the week. Probably not too much deal hunting for me in the coming weeks but I hope to check in and follow along the best I can. Buy one of everything for me just in case!
