Definitely wears smaller if you end up swapping into a thicker nylon strap... Or even swap out the bezel insert into a steel one.gustophersmob wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 10:36 amThanks!Rabirnie wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 9:23 amFrom the few pics I’ve seen of it on your wrist, it seems to wear very well. What size is your wrist?gustophersmob wrote:Day 4 with the giveaway 5KX.
Still really liking it. Still undecided if it’s too large for my skinny wrists, though.
Also just noticed I happened to catch this pic at 10:08:36. Just like the catalogs, if unintentional.

Depending on when I measure it, it’s somewhere between 6.25-6.5”.
The short lug to lug of the watch helps a lot with its wearability for me

I don’t care for nylon straps much, at least not natos. That’s an interesting point about a steel bezel, I’ll have to remember that. I may end up modding the bezel to a coin edge, which would be a good opportunity to experiment with inserts.

Re: WRUW
I have the same perception of nato designs (dislike the bulk), hence why the tudor-style adjustable single-pass straps are the only things I wear now. Seatbelt-like nylon variants are fantastic, you can find some at monsterstraps or RSM straps. Cheapestnatostraps carry the one of the same variants as RSM but are out of stock for most colours right now.gustophersmob wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 3:41 pm

Re: WRUW
Still with the new 5KX.
It’s interesting how the dial changes in different lighting. Sometimes it’s almost black, other times a bright blue. Sometimes it appears almost matte, and others it has almost a sunburst look.
Also, it’s been about 5 days since I set it to time.gov and it is currently 1 second fast. I haven’t tracked it day to day, but that seems pretty good to me, especially given the 4R36’s stated range.
