WRUW
Cleaned up another watch from an rBay garbage watch lot. The lot was $35 and the one watch that I wanted was great. Anything beyond that watch is a complete bonus.
Today I have a vintage LED watch from the 70’s. It has a National instruments module and once I got the right batteries it powered right up. A little polywatch and time with a cape cod polishing cloth layer and I have something quite presentable. The case notes that it is Swiss made (just the case).

Car has been in the shop since my fender bender, so been taking the train to work. Small delay on the tracks = wrist shot opportunity.

Afternoon switch to a watch that bridges analog to digital...for a Digitalization conference this evening.

Re: WRUW
I would agree there is a direct inspiration from those Ernest Borel's and other kaleidoscope watches.
It is so fun to watch the dial constantly change.

Re: WRUW
Thanks Yinzburgher. That means a lot coming from you. Every time I see you post one of your watches I am impressed by how much I like it.yinzburgher wrote:Well done with the dial man! Looks great.Sporkboy wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 11:50 am I finished this one, so I am trying it out.

The dial is slightly out of register, but otherwise it looks OK. All together the watch is missing something, and I think that is a bigger set of hands. Not sure what I will do on that front.
