I recognize this strap. What was it? Aguis trading or something? I found the HUISABH deal when they were closing down. Sad too, as it was the only true "San Jose Sharks Teal" strap that I had come across. Looks awesome on that G!!!!

Here is mine

Thanks! It was Ague Trading Co. that closed down. Most of my natos are from that sale. I think that photo of your Vostok on that strap (which I'd seen in the old deals thread) is the main reason I went for that teal G.

Here are a couple that cap my G-Shock collection even though I don't wear them (so they won't show up on WRUW). They are both deals I picked up from the WUS days.

There is so much I like about the Gravitymaster, a strictly analog G with compass, atomic timekeeping and sapphire crystal. It wears quite well on my 6.75" wrist and fits my style better than other outstanding models (I don't think I could carry off wearing a Rangemaster, for example). I keep it out where I can enjoy it every day, I set it where it can charge, but I've only worn it out once: to the Kikuo Ibe G-Shock event at Timeless.

That is where he signed my tan square, shown here. Before he signed it, it was one of my favorites to wear. Now it has been enshrined. I miss wearing it, but I've coped by purchasing a substitute G deal or two. ;-)

IMG_3159.JPG
In the spirit of Southern hospitality I brought him a gift: a "TEXAS" western belt buckle I found at Gebo's, a local tack and feed store (très Texas). He didn't ask me to sign it for him. ;-)

Snapped a poorly lit pic last night when I realized all my watches were running and set to the correct time for the first time in a long time. After some consolidation, here's where we are as of today:

That is good to know about the 6900 and adapters. I haven’t solved that underside issue without printing at an angle. I do need to do a redesign and refine so that I can try to get some going at a ‘print for hire’ service.

Top row, my watches with sentimental value, left to right:
-Swiss Military quartz watch my mom got me when I was in middle school (my first Swiss Made)
-Citizen watch, unknown model, gift from my late maternal grandfather
-Citizen Atomic watch, I forget the model #, gift from my mom and dad
-Citizen dress watch, gift from my then fiancée, now wife
-Casio GShock GMW-B5000G-2, my mom and brother searched around and picked this up for me during a recent trip to Asia

Bottom row, left to right:
-Orient Ray w/domed sapphire crystal mod, the watch that kicked off this hobby for me and went to Hawaii with me on my honeymoon. Went snorkeling in the Pacific with it.
-Steinhart Ocean 39 “Explorer” Gnomon exclusive
-Zelos Horizons GMT Meteorite, arrived yesterday!
-Zelos Mako V2 bronze w/cobalt dial
-Citizen BN0150 Promaster diver, AKA “Prime” for its 12 o’clock marker’s resemblance to Optimus Prime’s logo

Liking it so far! Though oddly something isn’t quite clicking (figuratively) with it for me yet. I’m gonna try swapping some straps and see if that helps. I think the brown horween strap that comes with it doesn’t seem quite right for some reason.

I otherwise love the story and uniqueness of the meteorite material and the GMT functionality.

Gray suede might look good. Something "rough" to match the meteorite.

Not the collection, just the ones I had sitting on/around my desk. I really need to put them away properly.
