I think my current policy is more like 2 in, 1 out. Buy a new watchbox every now and then.cheesetime wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 11:36 am I broke down and have a Marloe Coniston black edition coming my way. I have been lusting over the Coniston for much of 2020, and when I saw the black colorway that they released on Black Friday, I knew I had to have it. I will be sure to add pics and mini review once I have it. My collection will sit at 15 watches now. I think I need to institute a one in one out policy going forward.

Congrats!
I've been eyeing their Coniston line for a long time myself.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when it arrives.

I had ordered the new Heimdallr black PVD ocean blue monster homage back in early December directly from their website.
https://heimdallrwatch.com/store/Pre-Bl ... p261888488
Just got my order today, and Heimdallr sent me the blue Sea Ghost

:sigh:
And the hands are ugly, or I might have chosen just to keep it.

Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
I have ordered a Singaporean watch, an Aries Gold, model "Black Sea". It will be my first watch with a meteorite dial.
https://www.ariesgold.com/products/blac ... 027-s-bkt1
A Singaporean blogger makes a review of this watch, with patinated bronze dial version. And there is a discount code in the review.
https://www.wahsoshiok.com/aries-gold-b ... -included/
A feature of Aries Gold is that, on some models, you can have an image printed on the rear window.
So I'm going to kill two pieces with one shot. I wanted to have an erotic watch too... and I sent them a drawing by Italian cartoonist Milo Manara that I found online.

Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
Yes, with the code it stays at $180, a price that is a steal for a watch with a meteorite face, and a customizable back for little more money.
Wah So Shiok! is the name, precisely, of the blog of Mr. Qi Le, who is an apassionate.
https://www.wahsoshiok.com/watches/
It is a page that I consider very interesting, because it is mainly focused on small micro-brands, and there are interesting watches that have been a discovery for me. It usually accompanies the reviews with discounts that it has obtained for them, although not as high as 50% of Aries Gold, usually a 10%. A pity, if there had been that discount for micro-brands that I have discovered through him like "Maison Celadon" or "Atelier Wen" I would have bought them without hesitation.
Within the same brand "Aries Gold", there are other models that also stay very cheap with the code, some of which are also very nice, eg the model "La Oro" (sic), or have, as a rarity, a power reserve Orient caliber, as the model "Roadster".

It is such a unique watch, that I wish I'd bought it as more of a collectible than to even wear.Potato_With_Arms wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 6:45 pmSRPB61K1

NAW, but close enough?
Citizen CC2004 wall clock. Was on sale at Amazon for $51.90 after tax shipped during the Citizen watch sale. Plus, I get 5% cash back on Amazon purchases with my Amazon Prime card.
It was a little bigger in person than I had planned, but looks great. Does pick up a lot of reflection due to the silver dial. The case is metal. Seems like aluminum.
Note that I had previously received one, and the second hand had fallen off in transit.

Re: Incoming! What have you got in the mail?
Got this from CW during their first day launching the sale. I was hoping they would release the blue dial but this black variant is really nice to my surprise. I don't mind the "Super Compressor" being slightly off center as it's barely noticeable unless you are really looking for it. The bracelet needs to be resized but that won't be until maybe this weekend or when time permits.
